Weekend College

link to Schedule of ClassesPasadena City College now offers students the opportunity to attend classes on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sunday morning. Students can take courses in various disciplines that lead to an associate degree or career technical education certificate. This new program was designed for students that face challenges attending classes during the week.

What is the length of and schedule for the Weekend College classes?

The Weekend College courses were designed for the working student.

  • Fall and Spring Weekend College Classes are 16-week long
  • Summer Weekend College Classes are 12-weeks long

 

There are four class times:

  • Friday 6:00 PM
  • Saturday 9:00 AM
  • Saturday 1:00 PM
  • Sunday 9:00 AM
* Start times may vary

 

Each class meets 1 -2 times each weekend. Most class sessions are between 2 – 3 ½ hours each.
Classes are held on the Pasadena City College Main campus or Rosemead campus.

Can I earn a degree or certificate by attending the Weekend College?

The Weekend College program offers courses in many disciplines. It is possible for students to take up to three courses in Fall and Spring each, and up to two courses in the Summer.

Students can receive a degree or certificate by taking weekend classes. Students are also able to take courses during the week or fully online.  See Schedule of Classes for all course offerings.
